As more creative practitioners say yes to becoming founding members of Res Creativa each founder wants to reset political chaos with tranquility and hope.
Yesterday, in the first post of this series, I suggested that Res Creativa could build a civic leadership program, one that brings creative intelligence directly into public decision‑making.
Today’s post, along with the next three, will continue outlining initiatives Res Creativa could develop. Not all at once, and not quickly, but deliberately, in sequence, and together.

A Plan. An Actual Plan.
A Usable Civic Blueprint
Democracies rely on shared frameworks that help people understand what they are building together. A usable plan is one of the ways creative intelligence can strengthen that shared civic ground.
The Heritage Foundation spent years developing Project 2025. Whatever one thinks of its conclusions, the method was serious. A detailed and documented blueprint for reshaping public life.
It had impact for a simple reason. It exists. Ideas that are not written down, structured, and made usable do not move through institutions.
Res Creativa can develop a countervailing document. A living, working plan to reintegrate arts, culture, empathy, and public education into civic life.
This would not be a manifesto. It would be a practical framework grounded in evidence and built by practitioners, something that can be picked up and used by administrators, planners, policymakers, and funders.
What this would mean for you as a creator:
Develop the capacity to work across disciplines and contexts, expanding your practice beyond form into influence, collaboration, and real-world impact.
What this would mean for our humanity:
Break down silos between different ways of understanding, so our cities and society can respond to challenges with deeper insight, creativity, and cohesion.
For now, let’s call this plan Our Creative Republic.
This Is How Ideas Move Through Institutions
Creative disciplines train our attention to people, places, and consequences. Public institutions urgently need this intelligence.
